1. First game played.
Shadow Dragon! I like Marth in SSBB, so I got curious about the series... I don't actually remember asking for the game, however. I got stuck to in the last map and never beat it. Many years later, I tried FEH because I kept seeing on socmed and I had been curious about the 3DS entries when they released, too. From it I jumped to the main series, starting with Binding Blade.
2. Best Story.
I like Jugdral's and Tellius' the most, even if for different reasons.
FE4's feels like a classical saga, like how myths and legends are- including those that have defined events but have different versions about the figures involved, including their parentage. And FE5's different perspective complements it well.
For Tellius, PoR is already great. I love that type of 2000s fantasy world, as it felt rather nostalgic for me. But then, I liked it even more after seeing the new things they were trying on RD. You may have already heard about the complaints people usually have about Tellius' plot/worldbuilding, and while some choices aren't my cup of tea it still is one my overall favourites.
3. Most hours in.
Huuuh, Genealogy, probably.
Extended reply if the Saga games count: both Vestaria games are up there too because I tried to compile the script by myself (lol). Also, I played in Japanese using machine translation, which... takes more time by itself, too.
4. Favorite male character.
Lewyn my #1 guy... I like Seliph and Sephiran a lot too!!! And I will leave it at the top 3 not to have a really long list.

Nanna (at first she wasn't my FE4 fav, but after drawing her so much she became the one) and Micaiah. The third position is tied among a few charas here.

Well, Sephiran is the only one I have been really obsessed with, so I guess he wins this one (?).
7. Favorite class.
Mages, of the wind variety, and probably myrms too. Rutger left a huge impression when I played FE6 haha

Genealogy. Trying new pairings is fun!!!
9. Permadeath or no.
Always. But I do rewind and such when playing.
10. Japan only games played.
Since FE1 isn't Japan only, New Mystery is the only one I haven't played. <- I think the question assumes you have played all the ones that were released in the West...? If so, among those I still haven't played Awakening nor Fates. And I still need to beat Shadow Dragon and FE7, I left both at the last map;; (Shadow Dragon many years ago, as I said, so it'd need a replay anyway).
11. Favorite support conversations.
Huuuh, I admit I haven't thought about this one enough, since in 3/4 of my favourite games there aren't proper support conversations.
12. Most underrated female character.
I'm not sure, but I think people often overlook Mist when discussing Ike...?
13. Most underrated male character.
Dare I say Dheginsea Lewyn and Seph are popular enough in their niche, so I'd say Nasir or FE6 Karel.
14. Villain you wish you could recruit.
Levail...? I think in general the ones that I like enough to want to recruit that you don't... suit the story better that way, like Zelgius or Michalis <- actually recruitable in the remake, I think. Controlling Arion would be nice, but it works as a way of telling you he isn't fighting for your army, only for Altena. (Using villain freely here)
But I like Levail and he felt kinda lost, ngl. The relationships they hinted at in his battle convos were already interesting, too.
15. Favorite weapon.
Forseti my beloved. It even includes a cryptid with it (debatable).
16. Swords, Axes, or Lances?
Swords.
17. Favorite mechanic.
The "safe" arena from FE4 was nice to level up everyone.
18. Least favorite mechanic.
Minigames in my SRPGs, smh. No, but, as good as the gameplay was in Engage... those stat raising minigames felt like a chore.
19. Feature the series should bring back.
Bases/hubs as they were in FE4/Tellius.
20. Feature the series should remove.
Bases/hubs as they have been since 3H...
21. Weakest story.
Engage's.
22. FE or Advance Wars.
I played a tiny bit of AW once but it didn't click that type. Fire Emblem, at least for now.
23. Favorite music track.
SoV -> Twilight of the Gods
FE4 -> Most of the first half map themes, Dance in the Skies if I have to pick only one.
And the Theme of Love from FE3.
24. Favorite level.
RD's part 3 chapter 13 is good as portraying a sense of despair, and the following chapter (part 3's final) was really cool, too.
25. Recommended starting entry in your opinion.
FE8 was the second I played (after FE6) and I'd say it's the most beginner friendly.
26. Portable or console entries.
Vestaria Saga is for the PC*- jokes aside, console ones, it seems.
27. Most overrated male character.
Engage's cast- Ok, very hot take, but. Ike. I like him in PoR, but in RD he is... too perfect? Not all that interesting to me, imo. But maybe it's the fandom's fault and once I replay the game I'll be back to liking him. But if it's the fandom's fault it proves the point of the question (?)
28. Most overrated female character.
Yunaka or Ivy, I just... couldn't connect with Engage's cast at all.
29. Fire Emblem Heroes.
I dropped it years ago, but I enjoy seeing the new art.
30. Hot Take:
Gaiden did the ending chapter than SoV.
*sadly, I heard after one Windows update that messed up with the engine you can't exchange items among units anymore :((
